1. Project & Mission

A: It’s a charity effort led by a collective of DJs and artists to raise funds for those impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires.
The way it works is simple: Artists are handpicked to donate a track (to give a jam) and the songs are mixed into an exclusive compilation available to our community in exchange for a donation.

A: The goal is to provide direct support to people in Los Angeles who have experienced losses of homes, businesses, and livelihoods due to the Eaton and Palisades wildfires.

A: This initiative is headed by Acid Tourist (Hólmar), Electronic Groove, Listed Bookings, and a community of respected electronic music artists and friends.

A: Focus areas include the Eaton and Palisades wildfires in places like Altadena and Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.

A: They have burned tens of thousands of acres, destroyed numerous structures, and caused damage estimated in the billions, including long-term contamination of water systems.
2. Donations & Charity

A: All donations go directly to trusted charities that provide immediate relief to wildfire victims. We Give A Jam does not collect or handle any payments.

A: No. Your entire contribution supports the charity of your choice. There is no overhead or added cost from We Give A Jam or Electronic Groove.

A: We Give A Jam is partnering with reliable local and national organizations with wildfire relief experience. A finalized list will be provided when we launch on Earth Day - April 22nd.

A: You donate to one of our recommended charities—or another credible wildfire relief nonprofit—on your own. Then, on the Electronic Groove site, you complete a $0 “checkout” and upload proof of your donation to access the music.

A: That’s perfectly fine. Simply upload proof of your donation during checkout.

A: There isn’t a strict minimum—every contribution helps. We suggest a $25 contribution, but it’s a sliding scale—give what you can. Whether it’s more or less, every bit of generosity helps support people in need.

A: Your receipt comes directly from whichever charity you donate to. If you have trouble providing proof, reach out to us.
3. Music & Content

A: A variety of electronic tracks, including unreleased edits, special versions, and original productions from notable DJs and producers.

A: Contributors include Acid Pauli, Anja Schneider, Danny Howells, DJ Sneak, Francesca Lombardo, Kenny Glasgow, Philipp Jung, Soul Clap, and many more. A complete roster will be on the Artist Page when we launch.

A: No, it will be exclusive to those who donate. A private download link will be provided after proof of donation. No streaming services are attached to this mix.

A: After you upload proof of your donation during the free “checkout,” you’ll receive an email with a unique download link or code for the 5-hour mix.

A: It’s a special set created by Acid Tourist & Philipp Jung (Beauty/Beast) along with Francesca Lombardo.
4. Web & Technical

A: We Give A Jam announcements and details are hosted on the Electronic Groove site. Social channels for both We Give A Jam @wegiveajam and Electronic Groove @electronicgroove will have the latest info.

A: Take a screenshot or PDF of your donation confirmation. During the free checkout on the Electronic Groove site, upload your proof when prompted.

A: You’ll receive an email with your private link once your checkout is verified. This can be an automated or manual process, so allow some time.

A: Each link is unique and may expire after a set time or number of downloads to limit unauthorized sharing.
